Hi there! My Name is Kathryn Osgood, and I am the photographer behind Little Bear Photography. I am a family, maternity, newborn, senior, and headshot/branding photographer serving the Chicagoland area.
As a mom of two boys with ADHD, I know how stressful it can be to take family photographs. You struggle to pick out outfits for everyone, your kids hate wearing “fancy” clothes, and and then you look stressed and awkward in your photos while worrying about your children cooperating. I know this is what happens because I have both seen and experienced it myself! But what if it didn’t have to be that way? Family photography should be a fun, memorable experience that gives you memories that are so gorgeous and full of joy that you smile every time you see them. I want you to have amazing heirloom art pieces that you will cherish for decades.
With over 8 years of experience, I know how to work with all kids and families, whether they are neurotypical or neurodiverse, newborn, toddler, or seniors. I am skilled at directing posing and prompts to capture your best angles and the most magical “in-between” candid shots and genuine smiles. The moments that matter the most to you. It’s my goal to exceed all of your expectations and give you the most beautiful artwork to make your heart light up every time – without the worry and stress that comes with taking photos.
